The Lord seeks to establish status quo before His return. He is gathering His sheep, His birds, His people under His wings, under His authority, His Kingship, the only authority and Kingship of our Lord God and Master, as in the times of Abraham, Moses, Isaac and Jacob.

About This Quote

The word status quo has a broader meaning than just being a state of normal condition or being in a state of balance. It means a steady state of affairs, a basic pattern, a settled condition. The Lord is establishing a new order of things after the rapture before His return. There will be no more chaos and confusion after the rapture because Jesus Christ will be returning with His armies to bring order to the world. After Jesus Christ returns, all things will be set into exactly the way they were before He left this earth; i.e., God’s people will be gathered under His authority, His Kingship, the only authority and Kingship of our Lord God and Master, as in the times of Abraham, Moses, Isaac and Jacob.
